As the majority of learners are Xhosa peakers at our school, we started exploring the use of poetry and songs more frequently in order to make the learning process more enjoyable.
The current Grade Four learners have learnt the poem/ rhyme: Met My Hande (by Rika Nel), which is in Afrikaans. I've decided to upload this video to YouTube, showing how they perform this action rhyme (aksierympie). I have also added the words, so that others may make use of this video to help them learn the body parts in Afrikaans.
