We have a fully enstalled Khanya Computer Lab, with 24 computers for the learners to use. For the past ten years all our learners from Grade R to Grade 7 have been using the computer lab, absolutely free of charge. In the lab they do Language studies which include English and Afrikaans, as well as isiXhosa. They also do Mathematics and Research for various other subjects. The learners particularly enjoy the many educational games, which help them to improve their literacy and numeracy.
We make use of highly recommended computer programmes, such as Cami Mathematics, Cami Science, Cami Reader, Cami Literacy, Cami Perceptul Skills and the Macmillan Talking Stories which are in English, Afrikaans and isiXhosa.
They also learn the skills of using the well-known Windows based programmes, such as MS Word and Ms Excel.
